All is well. We are presently anchored near the village on the island of Vulaga after motoring overnight from Vanua Balavu. We enjoyed a close reach out of the lagoon in 8 to 10 knots of wind and smooth seas with a full main and the Code65. It did not last long before going calm. It remained that way all night. The ocean was a millpond as we motored south in the company of Chaos and Fundango. 120nm of perfectly smooth water with only a gentle southerly swell rising and falling all night.
10 boats arrived this morning, all having taken advantage of the calm weather window. We join the 20 boats already here.
Time for a shower and the dinghy ride to the beach, a hike to see the chief for sevusevu and permission to visit the island.
