All is well. We are anchored off the south end of Naviti Island, Yasawa Archipelago, Fiji Islands. We reached here from Mana Island this morning. We departed in 18 knots of breeze, which ultimately gave out as we sailed into Viti Levu’s big wind shadow.
It’s a deep anchorage. Our first time with all 100m of our chain out.
We are here to snorkel with the manta rays in the nearby manta ray alley.
We paid a visit to Seymour on the nearby point to pay respects, bring kava, and get permission to anchor. He and his crew are hard at work building an eco-resort.
