All is well. We are presently tied up in Musket Cove Marina’s inner basin. A great spot! We motored in from the northern end of the anchorage.
We need a safe place to leave the boat so I can take a quick work trip. We surrendered our reservation at Vuda Marina (no refunds, sadly). The weather is crappy, and space is extremely tight in there. We couldn’t get in there earlier. It leaves us no time for a plan B if the marina puts us in an untenable spot. Also, it is very hard to get a big boat docked in there when a strong northerly is blowing through the marina.
Musket Cove was wonderful to work with, creating this spot for us. We will have to take the 5 a.m. ferry to the mainland to make our flight, but it is worth it.
