All is well. We are presently anchored in the lagoon at Mana Island after a short motor trip from Musket Cove.
After a lazy morning, we weighed anchor and went into Musket Cove’s fuel dock. They were able to spare 600 liters of diesel, which got us nearly topped off. We got rid of our recycling and departed for Mana.
Mana is home to the American reality TV show, “Survivor,” which has been running for 25 years. Shooting for Season 50 wrapped up last month. That meant the island was accessible to visiting yachts. The island and the surrounding waters are off limits during production season
We ate at the Mana resort and then hiked to all the Survivor locations on the island.
There is also a wall on the reef outside the lagoon that makes for excellent snorkeling.
