It’s that time of year. Boats are departing Fiji, heading for Vanuatu, New Caledonia, New Zealand, and points beyond.
If you are berthed in Vuda Marina, the staff comes out to your boat and sings the traditional Fijian farewell song, Isa Lei. It is a wonderful and touching tradition. Everybody onboard cries. How can you not love Fiji.
